Crane Currency Makes Donation to a Women’s Shelter in Sweden

Crane Currency in Tumba has made a donation of USD 5.000 to the women’s shelter organization Botkyrka Kvinno- och Tjejjour in Stockholm, Sweden. The donation comes from Crane Fund for Widows and Children – a global initiative to charitable organizations that provide direct assistance to underserved populations in the communities where Crane Co. operates.

“We are very pleased of the donation and the support that Crane Currency has given us during the process,” said Yasemin Ergül, Chairman of Botkyrka Kvinno- och Tjejjour.

The Crane Fund for Widows and Children touches the lives of many through its donations to support global relief organizations, and school and scholarship funds in the United States and Canada.

“The global fund is one of the charitable entities within our mother company, Crane Co. It is a reminder of our place in society and I am very happy to be able to support an important local initiative such as the Botkyrka Kvinno- och Tjejjour,” says Sixten Jansson, Director of Operations and Managing Director of Crane Currency in Tumba.

Through the Crane Fund for Widows and Children, all Crane Co. sites are invited to nominate charitable organizations they wish to support. In 2019, the Crane Fund for Widows and Children and the Crane Foundation collectively disbursed approximately $2 million to more than 400 charitable organizations and educational institutions around the world.
