Crane Currency Malta Crowned Malta’s Best Manufacturing Company of 2020
Crane Currency Malta has won itself the Malta’s Best Manufacturing Company of the Year award as part of the fourth edition of the 2020 Malta Best-in-Business Awards program.
The Malta Best-in-Business Awards is the only business awards program that is judged by independent panels of prominent local business experts. The program is open to any company from any industry operating in Malta, or abroad, which is based in Malta.
The Awards took place December 11th in the presence of H.E. the President of Malta George Vella.
Crane Currency was awarded as Malta’s Best Manufacturing Company of the Year for setting an organizational standard for excellence and outstanding achievement.
Crane Currency is the fastest growing global player in currency, investing substantially in micro-optic technology that prevents counterfeiting. It has been supplying paper and security services to the US Government since 1879, and designs and prints banknotes for approximately 50 Central Banks globally.
Crane Currency’s Malta facility is the first commercial banknote printing facility to be built in several decades and marks a historic milestone in the company’s 200+ year history. It offers the latest in printing equipment and technology to support the most demanding central bank requirements.
