Fifteen NGOs receive a total of USD75,000 from Crane Currency Dalton
As part of its corporate culture, Crane Currency has for a long time kept up a tradition of making a number of donations to charitable organizations who serve in the communities where Crane operates. The global initiative is called the Crane Fund for Widows and Children, where each Crane site and its employees are encouraged to nominate the causes they wish to support, and these are approved by a selected committee within Crane Currency.
Our Dalton site closed off the year 2020 with a donation of USD75,000 from its Crane Fund, shared between fifteen US-based NGOs and charitable organizations.
The following NGOs each received a USD5,000 donation from the Crane Currency Dalton team:
- BART Foundation for Arts & Technology
- Berkshire Community Action Council (BCAC)
- Berkshire Country Day School
- Berkshire Country Head Start
- Berkshire Health Systems
- Berkshire Taconic Community Association
- BSA High Adventure Program
- Central Berkshire Regional School District (CBRSD) Weekend Backpack Program
- Christian Center
- Community Access to the Arts (CATA)
- Community Recreation Association
- Dalton Benefit Association
- Rise Above Foundation
- River Brook Residence
- Salvation Army
