Our managers provide mentorship and coaching for their early career professional. Helping you make the most out of every learning opportunity during your program. You’ll set purposeful goals and receive frequent feedback to help you grow your career.

Your role has clear deliverables and expectations. You are a meaningful contributor to the team’s goals. You’ll receive the applicable professional development to gain the knowledge, skills and abilities to deliver on your goals and objectives.

Industry and Function Networking
We know one of the biggest currencies in a career is your network. You’ll be provided structured opportunities each month to develop and build your network (alongside all the informal opportunities you’ll have).

Project Experience
Gain real-world experience managing projects and work assignments. We pride ourselves on giving Early Career Professionals the opportunity to be challenged in their work and lead initiatives (either team or individual) throughout their program.

US & INTERNATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE/ GRADUATE PROGRAMS
If you are currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year degree you are eligible to apply to one of our program opportunities. We offer roles in a variety of functions from IT and engineering to HR and finance and many in-between. Our Early Career Professionals program is available in the U.S., Tumba, Sweden and on the island of Malta.

Our finance team is a dedicated global group of professionals. Interns that join the team will have an opportunity to showcase what they’ve learned in the classroom and put it to the test. You would be working with the best in the business. Crane is very interested in students pursuing a degree in Finance or Business Management.

Information Technology has many avenues. Here at Crane, we offer opportunities in various platforms and rotate those opportunities across our five sites. If you are interested in working with this global team of professionals and are pursuing a degree in IT, check out the current openings. Depending on the opportunity the hours could be flexible to give you the chance to work while you are taking classes and during school breaks

Our HR department operates both at a local and global level. Students pursuing a degree in HR Management, Psychology, or Business would find these opportunities to be very rewarding. Our open positions may vary from that of a generalist to specific area focus like talent management.

Students joining either of these groups will be exposed to an exciting part of our business. If you are pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Product Management, or Product Engineering, this could be a great opportunity to get hands-on experience within this unique business.

Interns working in the operations group will have a great experience taking classroom learnings and applying them to a dynamic work environment. Under operations we offer positions that support Supply Chain, Quality, Environmental, Continuous Improvement, Facilities and Engineering. The offerings for each year may vary, but the experience you receive will always be rewarding. Each position will have different requirements and the degree you are pursing needs to be directly related to the department where the opportunity is located. We seek engineers students with a focus in many areas including Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.

This global team of highly skilled experts varies in background that comprise of scientists, chemists, analysts, and engineers. An opportunity within this group will surely be like no other you have experienced before. Depending on the location and focus area, you could be working on formulations, designing experiments, or analyzing new products prior to commercialization.

Physical security is important at Crane. Our newest facility in the Country of Malta, offers apprenticeships within physical security. You would be exposed to a Global group dedicated to ensuring the safety of our sites and our People. If you are pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice, this could be a great path to putting your course knowledge to the test.

These opportunities would support our Intellectual Property, or IP, group. This international team of experts are very detailed and know the laws that help to keep our IP and business thriving. You could be exposed to the various avenues within this department and take your classroom learnings to help solve or secure our second greatest asset, which is our intellectual property. Our greatest asset is our People! If you are pursuing a law degree or business degree and have some experience working in a law firm, this could be a great opportunity for you.
IN-HOUSE EVENTS

- Student Chat Sessions: We meet as a group each month and if new students have started with that month, we do a Welcome Meeting instead.
- One on One meetings with the Program Manager: Discuss projects, connections, or any topic that helps you develop while working with us.
- Monthly Guest Speaker Series: Each month a new speaker from within our business speaks with our Early Career Professionals. The topics range from career development to insights into the manufacturing process and much more.
