Annemarie C. Watson, President
Annemarie joined Crane Currency in 2012 as the Vice President of Operations across Crane Currency’s global businesses. In 2016, she was promoted to President of International Currency where she was responsible for research and development, product management, production and delivery of all non-US product for Crane Currency. In January 2018, Annemarie was named President of Crane Currency. She has previous experience in operational improvement and strategy roles at MDS Inc. (a global Life Sciences company), The Boston Consulting Group, as well as Honda Manufacturing. She received her M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School and an Engineering Degree from Queen’s University.
Ralf Fuehr, Chief Financial Officer - Vice President of Finance
Ralf joined Crane Currency in 2018 as Chief Financial Officer – Vice President of Finance after spending 10 years with Crane Co. Ralf joined Crane Co. in 2007, and for eight years held the role of CFO for Barksdale, part of the Crane Fluid Handling Group, located in Los Angeles, California. During his tenure, he held various interim leadership positions including Acting Vice President of Operations where he led both the Finance and Operations teams during a period of rapid growth. Ralf’s proven track record led to his promotion to President of Barksdale in 2015 and he successfully led this business before transitioning to the role of VP, Business Development & FP&A for the Fluid Handling Group. Prior to joining Crane Co., Ralf was with ConAgra Foods for 11 years, where he held roles of increasing responsibility, with his last role as VP of Finance - Global Markets. Ralf earned his Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas.
Michael Haynes, Vice President of Human Resources
Michael joined Crane Currency in 2018 as the Vice President of Human Resources. He came to Crane Currency after serving as Vice President of Human Resources within the Industrial Technologies Segment of Fortive Corporation, a diversified industrial company based in Everett, Washington with a global workforce in excess of 20,000. Prior to this role, Michael was a Group Director of Human Resources at Illinois Tool Works, a Fortune 200 manufacturing company. Before that, Michael spent 19 years in various senior level HR roles with Eaton Corporation working in business units based in various locations throughout North America, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Michael gained his Master of Science in Organizational Development and Analysis at Case Western Reserve University, Weatherhead School of Management. His Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication was received from Ohio University.
Stuart Tryon, Vice President, Global Security
Stuart joined Crane Currency in 2018 as Vice President, Global Security. Stuart has had a successful career including 25 years as an agent with the United States Secret Service in leadership roles consisting of Field Office assignments, positions in the Presidential Protective Division and the Criminal Investigative Division and, finally, in the Office of Strategic Intelligence. While in the Criminal Investigative Division, Stuart was the senior leader responsible for Secret Service criminal investigations in the areas of fraud, data breach, cyber-crime, money-laundering and civil forfeiture. Prior to operating a global security and risk consultancy, Stuart was the Director of IT Audit, Risk Regulatory and Money Service Business (MSB) Compliance at Fiserv in Alpharetta, Georgia. Stuart earned his Master of Science in Management from Johns Hopkins University and his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Bridgeport.
Sam Keayes, Vice President and General Manager of International Currency
Sam joined Crane Currency in January 2019 as the Vice President and General Manager of the International Currency business. He came to Crane Currency from Thales, a multi-national engineering and integrated solutions provider serving aerospace, ground transportation, defense and security markets. Sam has held senior operational and commercial leadership roles in the UK and Australia, including Vice President, Strategy and Government Relations; Vice President, Security and Consulting; and Vice President, Secure Communications and Information Systems/Ground Transportation Systems. Earlier in his career, Sam worked for the British Government where he held a variety of senior roles in security, defense and international relations. Sam achieved his Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Cranfield University and also holds a Masters Degree in Social and Political Sciences from Cambridge University.
Rich Rowe, Vice President and General Manager, US Government Products
Rich joined Crane Currency in 2008 as the president of Technical Graphics, a security technology division of Crane Currency. In May 2012, Rich became President of the U.S. Government Products Division for Crane Currency. Prior to Crane Currency, he was with MeadWestvaco (formerly Mead Corp.) in South Lee, MA, where he held leadership positions in Operations Management, Marketing, International Sales, and finally as V.P. of Business Development. Prior to that he worked in Engineering and Operations Management roles at James River Corporation. He has a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
Eric Ziegler, Vice President and General Manager, Technology
Eric joined Crane Currency in May 2012 leading the product strategy, R&D, product management and operations for the global security features business. Eric came to Crane Currency from PerkinElmer Analytical Sciences and Laboratory Services where he led the global product management and R&D teams for a global $1.0 billion revenue division and in his career has launched over 50 new significant products. Previously at PerkinElmer he managed business P&Ls and oversaw their global manufacturing operations. Eric completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and has a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from University of Rochester and a Masters in Engineering Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Wael Mrad, Vice President, Sales
Wael Mrad joined Crane Currency in 2010 as the Regional Sales Director for the Middle East and North Africa region. In May 2016, Wael became the Commercial Director for South East Asia and MENA region. In 2018, he was promoted to Vice President of Sales. Prior to joining Crane Currency, he held a position as Regional Sales & Marketing Director for the Middle East Region for the defense company Saab Bofors Dynamics. Prior to that he worked at different management positions as department manager and team leader for the technical consultancy company Semcon. Wael holds a M.Sc. in Solid Mechanics Engineering.
Karin Mörck-Hamilton, Director, Global Design
Karin joined Crane Currency in 2002 when the company acquired the Tumba Bruk banknote production operations from the Swedish Riksbank. She had worked at the Riksbank since 1981. Karin leads a team that takes a holistic approach when designing banknotes to make sure that all functions will be integrated into the note. Karin has more than 30 years of experience within the field of banknote design. With a Masters in Fine Art from the Swedish Art and Graphic at School of Design and Crafts and Engraver School at Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts, she started her banknote design career with watermark and intaglio engraving in early 1980s. Karin is a founding member of the International Banknote Designers Association.
