Ralf Fuehr, Chief Financial Officer - Vice President of Finance

Ralf joined Crane Currency in 2018 as Chief Financial Officer – Vice President of Finance after spending 10 years with Crane Co.  Ralf joined Crane Co. in 2007, and for eight years held the role of CFO for Barksdale, part of the Crane Fluid Handling Group, located in Los Angeles, California. During his tenure, he held various interim leadership positions including Acting Vice President of Operations where he led both the Finance and Operations teams during a period of rapid growth. Ralf’s proven track record led to his promotion to President of Barksdale in 2015 and he successfully led this business before transitioning to the role of VP, Business Development & FP&A for the Fluid Handling Group. Prior to joining Crane Co., Ralf was with ConAgra Foods for 11 years, where he held roles of increasing responsibility, with his last role as VP of Finance - Global Markets. Ralf earned his Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas.


Michael Haynes, Vice President of Human Resources

Michael joined Crane Currency in 2018 as the Vice President of Human Resources. He came to Crane Currency after serving as Vice President of Human Resources within the Industrial Technologies Segment of Fortive Corporation, a diversified industrial company based in Everett, Washington with a global workforce in excess of 20,000. Prior to this role, Michael was a Group Director of Human Resources at Illinois Tool Works, a Fortune 200 manufacturing company. Before that, Michael spent 19 years in various senior level HR roles with Eaton Corporation working in business units based in various locations throughout North America, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Michael gained his Master of Science in Organizational Development and Analysis at Case Western Reserve University, Weatherhead School of Management. His Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication was received from Ohio University.


Sam Keayes, Vice President and General Manager of International Currency

Sam joined Crane Currency in January 2019 as the Vice President and General Manager of the International Currency business. He came to Crane Currency from Thales, a multi-national engineering and integrated solutions provider serving aerospace, ground transportation, defense and security markets. Sam has held senior operational and commercial leadership roles in the UK and Australia, including Vice President, Strategy and Government Relations; Vice President, Security and Consulting; and Vice President, Secure Communications and Information Systems/Ground Transportation Systems. Earlier in his career, Sam worked for the British Government where he held a variety of senior roles in security, defense and international relations. Sam achieved his Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Cranfield University and also holds a Masters Degree in Social and Political Sciences from Cambridge University.


Eric Ziegler, Vice President and General Manager, U.S. Government & Technology Products

Eric joined Crane Currency in May 2012 leading the product strategy, R&D, product management and operations for the global security features business. Eric came to Crane Currency from PerkinElmer Analytical Sciences and Laboratory Services where he led the global product management and R&D teams for a global $1.0 billion revenue division and in his career has launched over 50 new significant products. Previously at PerkinElmer he managed business P&Ls and oversaw their global manufacturing operations. Eric completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and has a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from University of Rochester and a Masters in Engineering Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.


Mike Prout, Vice President, Global Security

Mike joined Crane Currency in December 2019 as Vice President, Global Security. Mike joins Crane Currency after leading physical security and investigations as Director of Security for Charter Communications, a Fortune 100 broadband communications company with 400 facilities and 12,000 personnel in his area of responsibility. Prior to joining Charter, Mike spent 25 years with the U.S. Marshals Service, a federal law enforcement agency. Mike served as an Assistant Director of INTERPOL-USNCB coordinating investigations, and held a wide variety of roles with the U.S. Marshals including 9 years as a member of the Senior Executive Service. He was responsible for overseeing security, intelligence and executive protection for the U.S. Court System and also led Internal Investigations and Internal Audit. Over his final 3 years with the agency, Mike provided leadership of the U.S. Witness Security Program. Mike received his Master of Science degree in Management from Johns Hopkins University and his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Marist College.


Wael Mrad, Vice President, Sales

Wael joined Crane Currency in 2010 as the Regional Sales Director for the Middle East and North Africa region. In May 2016, Wael became the Commercial Director for South East Asia and MENA region. In 2018, he was promoted to Vice President of Sales. Prior to joining Crane Currency, he held a position as Regional Sales & Marketing Director for the Middle East Region for the defense company Saab Bofors Dynamics. Prior to that he worked at different management positions as department manager and team leader for the technical consultancy company Semcon. Wael holds a M.Sc. in Solid Mechanics Engineering.


Karin Mörck-Hamilton, Director, Global Design

Karin joined Crane Currency in 2002 when the company acquired the Tumba Bruk banknote production operations from the Swedish Riksbank. She had worked at the Riksbank since 1981. Karin leads a team that takes a holistic approach when designing banknotes to make sure that all functions will be integrated into the note. Karin has more than 30 years of experience within the field of banknote design. With a Masters in Fine Art from the Swedish Art and Graphic at School of Design and Crafts and Engraver School at Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts, she started her banknote design career with watermark and intaglio engraving in early 1980s. Karin is a founding member of the International Banknote Designers Association.
