The Beauty of Life House Note Receives Prestigious IOTA Award

New MOTION SURFACE® – “Best Integrated Technology”

Crane Currency’s latest house note, “The Beauty of Life”, has received the prestigious award “Best Integrated Technology” from the International Optical Technologies Association (IOTA). The award was handed to Sam Cape, Innovation Director at Crane Currency, during the Optical & Digital Document Security (ODDS) conference, organized by Reconnaissance International in Warsaw, Poland.

The Beauty of Life house note is produced for central banks and the banknote industry at large to demonstrate what is now possible using the latest and most advanced micro-optic design software from Crane Currency.

The house note has an astonishing MOTION SURFACE® micro-optic stripe and was seen by the jury as the best example of an integrated security feature technology in the market:

A Crane Currency team of banknote and micro-optic feature designers closely collaborated with its Malta-based printing works on the creation of the Beauty of Life house notes. The notes meet all industry standards for durability and were made possible through the support of Crane Currency’s project partners from CCL Secure, GSI Security Inks, JURA and SICPA.
